Syktyvkar Tissue Group launched a new hygienic and sanitary paper production line
Syktyvkar Tissue Group (STG) – a leading Russian producer of hygienic and sanitary paper – has officially announced that it launched a new production line of professional hygienic and sanitary products for corporate clients (HORECA, offices, and passenger transport companies) based at its Semibratovo production facility in the Yaroslavl Region. New products come in form of one- and two-ply V-fold paper towels. Production capacity of the new line is over 500 tons of end products per month.
The new line launch is a milestone in the company’s development strategy that aims to strengthen STG’s position in hygienic and sanitary paper products market and increase the company’s growth rate and investment appeal.
At the beginning of 2016, STG’s one- and two-ply paper towels production project was included in the List of complex investment projects in the key Russian consumer industry sectors.
STG is one of the largest vertically integrated tissue manufacturers in Russia and the CIS. The production facility in the Yaroslavl Region launched in September 2014 is the company’s largest investment project under its 2011-2015 development strategy. Investment in its construction is valued at around 3 billion roubles. The launch of this fully vertically integrated production facility brings STG’s total annual production capacity to 85 thousand tons of paper hygiene products a year, with the company’s main production unit with annual capacity of 50 thousand tons per year located in Syktyvkar.
